Individual goals

Add individual OKRs & KPIs.

Before you proceed, we highly recommend reading this blog post about individual OKRs and personal development goals.


Enabling Individual OKRs & KPIs

ℹ️ This requires Superadmin rights.

By default, all OKRs and KPIs must have an Team. A Team can be the company, department, region, team, etc. However, for individual OKRs or KPIs, it often doesn't make sense to have a Team, so you can make this field optional.


Creating individual OKRs and KPIs

Without a Team

From your User page or Home:

For KPIs

  • Click + Add KPI.

  • Add a Name.

  • Add a Description (optional).

  • Select the KPI should: Stay at or above, Stay at or below, Increase to, or Decrease to.

  • Add Unit (e.g. %, #, currency symbol, days, minutes, etc).

  • Leave Team blank.

  • Select a Lead.

  • Click Save.

For OKRs

  • Click + Add OKR.

  • Add a Name.

  • Select Alignment.

  • Leave Team blank.

  • Select a Lead.

  • Select a Timeframe.

  • Click Save.

With a Team

Instead of leaving the Team field blank, you have 2 options:

  1. Add them to existing Teams (eg. Sales, Marketing) and assign the Lead for the Objective, its Key Results, and Initiatives all to the same person.

  2. Create a special Team (eg. "Individuals & Personal Goals") for all individual goals, and assign this Team as the Team for all individual OKRs and personal development goals.

In all cases, Supreme users can use private OKRs and KPIs to hide these goals so they're only visible to the individual and their manager.

First, select Show Key Results & Initiatives (optional: filter Results by All Result types, Key Results only, or Initiatives only), then Print full page:

You can also filter a Cascade view in Explore by lead and export the data as a CSV, PDF or PPT.
