Magically import your goals from text or CSV. Drafted goals elsewhere? Migrating from another tool? Simply copy/paste them into Perdoo or upload a CSV!
Enabling the 'Import goals' feature
ℹ️ This requires Superadmin rights.
The 'Import goals' feature uses AI. Therefore, please make sure that AI is enabled for your account.
Go to Configure > Features and make sure AI is checked:
How to import goals from text or CSV
If there are no goals yet, click 'Import goals'.
Select 'Import via text' or 'Import via CSV'.
If there are goals already:
On Home: Click + Add goal and select 'Import goals'.
On Explore, click + Add goal and select 'Import goals'.
On User, Team or Company page: Click the 3 dot menu next to the name or + Add OKR select 'Import goals'.
Choose:
Import from text
Import from CSV: Use this template to format your data.
Click Preview import.
Review import suggestions and make any adjustments to Name, Timeframe, Owner.
Choose which goals you'd like to import.
Click Import selected.
Each account has been allocated a number of credits per month based on your plan. Once you've exhausted your credits, you can purchase more.
How to import goals from another tool
If there are no goals yet, click 'Import goals'.
Select 'Import from tool'.
Choose Source: Viva goals, Tability (Coming soon) or Mooncamp (Coming soon), then click Next.
Drag and drop your CSV.
Toggle on 'Include archived goals' if you want to import archived goals too.
Click Next.
Review the file data, then click Next.
Match imported user to existing user or create new users, then click Next.
Match imported teams to existing teams or create new teams, then click Next.
Review the data and click 'Start Import'.
That's it! You'll receive an email confirmation after the import is complete.
Important notes
The file must be a CSV.
The file must be smaller than 5MB and have less than 10,000 rows.
If errors are encountered, the first 5 errors are shown on the screen. If more than 5 issues are found, you can download a CSV with the full list.
If a required column is missing from the data source, you'll be notified exactly which are missing.
Goal history (updates, comments, check-ins) cannot be imported. Only the current state of each goal will be transferred.
