Enable or disable stretch goals

Determine when an OKR has been achieved.

Updated this week

It's well known that OKRs are often stretch goals. Best practice is that you should add about 30% to your targets to feel a little uncomfortable and push your teams outside of their comfort zone. That way, it helps to unlock creative thinking and take calculated risk. Because of this, 70% progress is considered achieved.

We understand though, that it may be best for some organizations to work with committed goals where 100% is required in order to be considered achieved. For this reason, we've made it possible for you to choose whether or not you want your teams to work with stretch goals.

This is a choice that can set the tone for your OKR program and how your company sets goals.
