It's well known that OKRs are often stretch goals. Best practice says that you should add about 30% more to your targets in order to motivate people to push themselves outside of their comfort zone. Because of this, it's believed that if you achieve 70% of an OKR, you've been successful.

We understand though, that it may be best for a goal to reach 100% in order for it to be considered achieved. For this reason, we've made it possible for you to choose whether or not you want your teams to work with stretch goals.

This is a choice that can set the tone for your OKR program and how your company sets goals.

* NOTE: Only Superadmins can edit Company goals.

To enable or disable stretch goals

  1. Go to Configure

  2. In General, click on Features

  3. Click on Goal Management to expand the features

  4. Check or uncheck the Stretch OKR option

  5. Click Save
