Building your path to success is no easy task, but to keep things in perspective, start with your Ultimate Goal, a reflection of your organization's mission and vision.
It represents the sole purpose for which you exist, the markets and customer segments for which your organization fulfills that purpose, and when you’ll consider your undertaking a success. Making it the starting point of your journey ensures that you stay loyal to the core of your business.
Why do we call it an Ultimate Goal? Definitions vary between mission and vision, and they can be quite long. We encourage you to keep it simple, with one line that defines what your organization is all about.
Adding your Ultimate Goal keeps you in check about taking decisions that are aligned to this purpose – to boost strategic alignment. Taking steps that divert you from your path will create chaos and confusion within the organization, making it harder to achieve consistent and significant results.
To add or edit your Ultimate Goal in Perdoo
ℹ️ This requires Superadmin rights.
Go to Explore > Map.
Click Add your Ultimate Goal below Ultimate Goal to add or click on your Ultimate Goal to edit it.
Enter your Ultimate Goal.
Add a Description (optional).
Press Save.
If you need help, click 'Generate with AI' to have AI generate the Ultimate Goal and Description for you. AI Agent needs to be enabled to see this option. To enable AI Agent, go to Configure > Features.
