Important:

You can align both KPIs and OKRs to Strategic Pillars.
How to align a KPI to a Strategic Pillar
Your strategy isn't time-bound (unlike an OKR). It's your strategy up until you change it. So the success of a Strategic Pillar is measured through KPIs as, unlike Key Results, KPIs don't have a due date.
To align a new KPI:
Click on the + icon below the Strategic Pillar.
Select KPI.
Fill out the KPI details.
Hit Save.
To align an existing KPI:
Click on the KPI.
Click on Alignment in the right sidepanel.
Select Strategic Pillar and choose the Strategic Pillar.
Click Save.
*NOTE: There is no limit to the number of KPIs you can align to a Strategic Pillar. KPIs can alway be broken down into more granular metrics, so it's important to really focus. The intention is to add those high-level metrics that truly communicate how you're doing.
How to archive a Strategic Pillar
ℹ️ This requires Admin or Superadmin rights.
Have one or more of your Strategic Pillars changed? Easily archive a Strategic Pillar to retain it for historical reference. Archived Strategic Pillars will be hidden by default but you can quickly view them by selecting 'Archived' from the Stage filter.
Admins can archive Strategic Pillars that are owned by a Team, not the Company.
Superadmins can also delete a Strategic Pillar, but this action is permanent and irreversible.
How to restore a Strategic Pillar
ℹ️ This requires Admin or Superadmin rights.
In Explore, click on Filters and select Archived. Click on the Strategic Pillar and select 'Restore' from the 3 dot menu.
Admins can restore Strategic Pillars that are owned by a Team, not the Company.
Disabling Strategic Pillars
ℹ️ This requires Superadmin rights.
Obviously, we recommend that you work with Strategic Pillars. However, if you do not wish to use this feature, you can disable this under Configure > Framework.

You can align other Strategic Pillars, KPIs and OKRs to Strategic Pillars.
Aligning Strategic Pillars lets larger or more complex organizations connect strategies across levels. For example, a department-level strategy can sit beneath and support a corporate strategy, without forcing either one into the structure of an OKR. The result is a more accurate Strategy Map that shows how strategic choices across your organization fit together.
