If an employee leaves the company or you simply decide to reduce the number of seats in Perdoo, you can archive users.

When you archive a user, OKRs will not be removed but access to Perdoo will be blocked for the user. An archived user doesn't count towards user licenses.

That means, if you archive a user and they are the lead of an OKR, they will continue to be the lead of that OKR, even if they're no longer an active user.

Why can't I delete a user?

Deleting users would remove connections between your goals and the people that are leading or contributing to them. Archiving preserves those connections to keep your goal data accurate in the system. If you'd like to delete a user, please reach out via the in-app chat at the bottom-right or email support@perdoo.com.

To archive a user

  1. Click on Configure

  2. Select Users

  3. Search for the user you wish to remove

  4. Click on the menu on the right

  5. Select Archive User

  6. Click Confirm

The user will appear in you user list as Archived:

* NOTE: You can archive users in bulk by simply selecting them using the check boxes on the left, and then clicking on the action menu on the top right.

To restore a user

(Super)admins can unarchive users through the following steps:

  1. Click on Configure

  2. Go to the Users tab

  3. By default we hide archived users from your Users list, so you'll need to click Show Archived in the top right.

  4. Select for the user(s) you wish to restore

  5. Click on the menu on the right

  6. Select Restore User
