Integrate Perdoo with Slack to collaborate and stay on top of goals in the place where your communication already takes place.
With the Slack integration, you’ll always be up to date on the status of your goals, and can effortlessly celebrate success, or discuss how to get things back on track. Enable the integration to:
Focus your communication. Discuss new and updated goals in your team’s Slack channel.
Keep on top of goals. Update goals in a flash.
Foster alignment. Make everyone aware of current priorities.
*NOTE: Your Slack user email must match your Perdoo user email in order to receive Slack update reminders.
Enabling the Slack integration
ℹ️ This requires Superadmin rights.
Click on Add Slack Integration (you'll be redirected to Slack to authorize Perdoo)
Select Authorize.
Perdoo can send updates to private or public Slack channels.
Private Slack channel
You may need to update your integration in order to unlock private channels by clicking the update button in Configure > Integrations > Slack:
To be able to use the integration with your private channel in Perdoo, the Perdoo app needs to first be added to the private channel in order for Perdoo to see that Slack channel.
Go to your private channel in your Slack. Navigate to the Channel settings (by clicking its name at the top) > Integrations > "Add apps" link and search for the Perdoo app.
After you have added the app to the channel, you'll need to wait 24 hours before you can add it as a Slack channel in Perdoo.
Push Company or Team activity to a channel
ℹ️ This requires Superadmin rights.
Once the integration is set up, you can also choose to send the following updates to one of your channels through Configure > Integrations > Slack:
Teams can also manage their Slack channel:
ℹ️ This requires Admin or Superadmin rights.
Go to the Team Profile.
Edit the Team (3 dot menu next to its name).
Choose your preferred channel under Advanced > Slack channel.
Click Save.
*NOTE: Each Team can only connect to one Slack channel.
Team Progress Reports
Toggle on Progress Reports in Configure > Integrations > Slack to keep your teams updated by sending Progress Reports to the Slack channels of your choice.
Submit User Reviews and update goals via Slack
One person needs to authorize the Perdoo Slack app for the account. Then, if Update reminders are enabled, a reminder will be sent out to update your goals. It'll look like this:

Share Kudos
Toggle on When Kudos given in Configure > Integrations > Slack to celebrate hard work and accomplishments in the channel of your choice.
Share User Reviews to a channel
User reviews are managed on a personal level:
Choose the right channel.
Click Save.
Sharing your User Reviews to a Slack channel of your choice acts as a standup.
