A Initiatives progress can be updated manually, with an integration, or based on its aligned goals โ depending on what Progress driver you choose. It's also possible to assign different weights to the aligned goals to customize the calculation.
Manual
By default, the Initiative's Progress driver will be set to Manual.
By clicking on it, you can add a link to a Data source if you want quick access to the data you need to update that KPI. If you add a Data source, hit Save.
Integration
We offer several native integrations so you can automatically update your KPIs. Enabling any of these integrations requires Superadmin rights.
Once enabled, open your Initiative and click on Progress driver in the right side panel:
Select Integration and choose the integration from the dropdown menu. Fill in the designated fields required for that integration then hit 'Save' or 'Save & Sync now' if you want the value to update now.
Important notes:
Perdoo will check once a day for any changes โ between 12-1AM CET โ and will update if a change has been made.
If you'd like to update the goal at anytime, you can open the integration and click "Save & Sync now".
The Activity feed will indicate if a progress update was made by an integration.
Aligned goals
Open your Initiative and click on Progress driver in the right side panel:
Select Aligned goals and choose an Aggregation method from the dropdown menu: Sum or Weighted average. Then hit Save.
Important notes:
For Weighted average, the Aligned goals are weighted equally by default, but you can change the weighting.
Updating the value of any of the Aligned goals will automatically update the value of the Initiative.
If you have 'Automatically set status for Key Results and Initiatives' enabled, the Initiatives status will also update automatically based on the new value.
The Activity feed will indicate if a progress update was made by Aligned goals.
