A timeframe by definition is a period of time where something is planned to happen. In the OKR framework, timeframes are extremely important because they set the pace of how your Company will be achieving Objectives.
Perdoo allows you to create Timeframes according to your Company's rhythm giving you full flexibility for creating the best flow for your Company and Groups.
Lets say you decide to work with a quarterly cadence and have annual Company Objectives. This means:
- The Administrator will create a timeframe for all four 2018 quarter and and select Q1-2018 as default. When users login they'll automatically land into their Q1-2018 Profile.
- Senior Leadership Team will add annual Company Objectives with a start date of January 1 and an end date of December 31. This indicates that objectives will stay active throughout all timeframes (quarters).
- Groups will then add quarterly Group Objectives for Q1-2018 and then aligning them to the annual Company Objectives. This mean that all Group Objectives will aim to be completed and closed by March 31, 2018.
