Roles for different users define the level of access and responsibility individual users have within an OKR. The Standard user serves as the common denominator for all the user types.
There are 3 roles in an OKR that you should always consider when setting up your OKR structure:
Owner: Group, Team or Company that holds the main responsibility and stake in accomplishing the Objective (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, etc.). More on Owners.
Lead: The individual responsible for driving the entire effort for accomplishing the Objective. The lead ensures Key Results are progressing and that the right Actions are being set in order to be successful. More on Lead.
Contributor: Individual(s) working on achieving the Objective. (i.e. group members, cross functional employees, etc.).
