The Roadmap serves as the central place to build your path to success. OKRs work with a series of timeframes known as cadences, that interact with each other to create a rhythm of continuous and focused progress. You have a high level goal with a longer horizon that can only be accomplished through the execution of smaller goals with a shorter horizon. In the Roadmap, you can see this visual representation. Once your OKRs are added, you can easily filter each cadence by the following filters to dig deeper:

  • Aligned to
  • Lead
  • Owner
  • Progress
  • Tag

Here are some ways to use filters.

Identify all OKRs aligned to a specific OKR. The company provides the strategic direction and teams execute. To ensure the efforts across the organization are rowing in the same direction and supporting this strategy, filter Objectives by alignment (aligned to). That way, you can understand what efforts are being made to achieve parent and strategic Objectives.

Identify Objectives by progress across groups. It's important to identify which Objectives need attention in order to deploy the help and support to bring them back on track. You can filter Objectives by progress so that you can see those that haven't moved forward.
