Sometimes you'll find that you need to update a Key Result or KPI with a date in the past. Some use cases are:

  1. You were on holiday and need to add progress for the dates you were away.
  2. Finance teams that get reports "x" number of days after the closing period.
  3. You need to update the goal's value on the last day of the quarter/month.

To add a date to a progress update simply click on Advanced and select the date from the date picker, as shown below for a Key Result. Note that to add an update with a date prior to the last registered update, you will need to delete the latest update first.
